COVID19 PRECAUTIONS
Below is some important information for you to read before attending your appointment. I have always maintained high levels of hygiene and safe practise of all procedures, I hope to reassure you by the extra changes I’ve made that your visit will be as safe as possible.
A 15 minute gap will be introduced in between every appointment which will ensure thorough cleaning and disinfecting using approved virucidal products on all workstations, work surfaces, chairs, couches, door/door handles, floors, equipment, reception and the bathroom.
Where it is possible I shall use disposable sheets. Towels are always washed at 60 degrees and replaced. I have a plastic wipable couch cover, chair arm covers, pillow cover, bolster cushion to make sure everything stays as hygienic as possible.
At this time there will be no magazines available, feel free to bring your own. Refreshments will be served in disposable cups or you are welcome to bring your own.
I have completed industry approved online courses to keep me up to date with infection control, cleaning and proper disinfection. I will not travel to and from work in my uniform, I will wear a face cover or head visor, gloves or have washed my hands and forearms Thoroughly in antibacterial soap. If I feel unwell with the slightest of symptoms I will reschedule your appt.
Even though you may be desperate to come in for your treatment, if you are feeling unwell with any kind of symptoms please reschedule.
Upon arrival for your appointment
Please have a face cover ready to wear.
You will find the salon door locked. This is to prevent walk in appointments, enquiries or any interruptions to our treatment causing me to re-sterilise areas.
The therapist who is performing your treatment that day is the only person allowed to let you in.
As there are a number of us working in the Salon with our customers, space is limited. It will be difficult to honour the social distancing so unfortunately there will be no waiting for appointments in the reception area and no waiting after your treatment. I would like to ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment. If you are early then please wait in your car or outside. If I am ready for you earlier I will send a text to come on in.
You will be asked to wash your hands before we begin.
Unfortunately no friends of family members are allowed to come along with you to your appointment. This will help to maintain as much social distancing as possible.
After your appointment
If you experience any symptoms within 7- 14 days of leaving the salon, please contact me so I can take the necessary measures. I will still be accepting cash payments during this time.
The procedures and protocols for Covid 19 will be reviewed and updated regularly within the salon environment but not necessarily on this website. If you have any questions regarding the above information please contact me.
